Rules and Regulations

Retail/Craftors

This year craft vendors will again be located in the Queen Elizabeth II Gardens, however, because the Gardens have recently renovated, this comes with some very strict rules that MUST be followed or you may be assessed a fine by the Wascana Centre Authority.

There are no vehicles or generators of any size, shape or purpose allowed in the Gardens – neither on the paving stones nor on the grass. Nothing is allowed to penetrate the paving stone paths, therefore any tie downs must be secured to pegs outside the paved walk.

Spot selection will be first come first serve. If you are unsure where to set up, you can check in with me beforehand (Susan 306-530-9981). Early set up is available on the evening of June 30th (prior to 9:00pm), but there will be a fee to do so in the amount of $30/booth to help cover the cost of the overnight security.

Just a reminder that the only thing that we are supplying to you is space to set up your booth. We do not supply power, tables, tents, etc. It is up to you to bring anything and everything you will need to set up and run you booth.

Parking Passes - to be advised.

Cancelation Policy - to be advised.

Food Vendors

Food vendors will be located on the Queen Elizabeth II Lawn West. The Wascana Centre Authority works very hard to maintain the beautiful condition of the park, so we ask you to use extreme care when bringing your trucks into the meadow. As always, you must place boards under the wheels of your trucks to protect the grass, but please also be aware of low hanging trees when pulling into your spot. You can enter the meadow through either the north or south side, but absolutely no vehicles are allowed in the Gardens area so under no circumstances can you use this as your access point. Fines will be assessed for any damage, so please keep this in mind.

Where possible, I will assign spots based on where you were located last year. For any new vendors, or vendors located in spots that no longer exist this year, I will slot you into one of the remaining available spots. Please ensure you park in your assigned spot or you will be asked to move as we measured out the locations to ensure that everyone will have enough space. If you are unsure, please ask a committee member for assistance.

Early set up is available on the evening of June 30th (prior to 9:00pm), but there will be a fee to do so in the amount of $30/booth to help cover the cost of the overnight security. If you are setting up on July 1st, you will need to be in your spot no later than 11:00 am. If you arrive later than this you may be refused entry if we feel there is a safety issue because a crowd has begun to gather in the area by that time. Please note that your vendor fee will not be refunded if this occurs so please don’t be late!
